The Problem is Clear.

Overview – For my final project in design school, I focused on plastic pollution.

Tools Used – Watercolor, Adobe InDesign

💡 Objective – Plastic pollution in the ocean has increased rapidly and I wanted to bring awareness to this and provide solutions to decreasing the amount of plastic in the ocean.

🧠 Process – I used watercolors to create organic sea-life posters with key pollution statistics on top. I also used old water bottles to create fish to emphasize my point.

I also met with the Office of Sustainability and proposed a new water bottle fill station in the art building. It previously did not have one. This installation helped encourage use of reusable water bottles and reduce the amount of bottles in the ocean.

✅ Outcome – Reduced plastic water bottle use.
